Five celebrities who invest in cryptocurrency

Until recently, the wider populace had little interest in cryptocurrencies; it was virtually solely reserved for the engineers, developers, and entrepreneurs engaged in its creation a decade earlier.

When cryptocurrency was first introduced, many people were unaware of it. Due to their nature, many people found it hard to fathom them initially, let alone invest in them.

Elon Musk

Elon Musk is the most prominent figure in the Bitcoin network, regardless of his frequent mockery of the cryptocurrency on Twitter, because of his unique persona and over 46 million followers.

In January 2021, he became the wealthiest person in the world earlier called Bitcoin's design "brilliant" back in 2019, and recently made his support for the digital currency public.

Mike Tyson

The reaches a wider boxer and social media icon Mike Tyson spotted the opportunity in Bitcoin before other celebrities, claiming in 2015 that he is "grateful" to be a part of that movement.

That year he formed a partnership with Bitcoin ATM producers, which resulted in BTC ATMs featuring his face tattoo. "Iron Mike" also teamed up with Bitcoin Direct to offer a mobile Bitcoin wallet.

Maisie Williams

In November 2020, Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams joined the Bitcoin train. Maisie asked her Twitter followers for an opinion on whether she should "go long on Bitcoin", a tweet that received over 900,000 responses, with more than half of them warning her against it.

Jack Dorsey- Jack Dorsey is a well-known Twitter user. The CEO of Twitter and Square, Jack Dorsey, is a staunch Bitcoin advocate. In 2017, he began lobbying for the king coin, which sparked his interest in BTC.

Even though the crypto market crashed in 2018, Dorsey maintained unfazed, calling Bitcoin the "next world currency" regardless of the digital currency's lowest level in years. In March 2019, Dorsey revealed that he spends many thousand dollars every week in Bitcoin.

Mark Cuban

Billionaire shark tank celebrity and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban seems to get a love-hate relationship with Bitcoin. His net worth is believed to be $4.2 billion.

He recommended that individuals invest at least 10% of their portfolio in Bitcoin at one time but then stated that he'd rather possess bananas than BTC. In April 2020, he revealed his BTC holdings, worth around $130 at the time (and are now worth roughly $635).

He subsequently explained, though, that he had held several different cryptos from Coinbase's early days. Cuban advised listeners to "go purchase anything in Bitcoin" on Anthony Pompliano's program.

He did confess, though, the only time he may invest a large sum of money in Bitcoin is if it would be easy to use without converting it to cash.

With all of these well-known figures and large corporations and organizations betting on Bitcoin, it looks that the revolution is well underway.

Although it's uncertain how much it can maintain its current value, we know that Bitcoin has worth in the opinion of the world's most influential individuals.
